A League of Their Own. There’s no crying in baseball. Based on the true story of the WWII All-American professional women’s baseball league and inspired by the 1992 film of the same name, this comedy drama series follows the players of the Rockford Peaches. Executive producers Abbi Jacobson and Will Graham are hoping to bring audiences a story full of “grit, fire, authenticity, wild imagination and a crackling sense of humor.” A League of Their Own premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, August 12.
