MVP. From executive producer, Sylvester Stallone, this film stars and marks the directorial debut of Nate Boyer, a U.S. Army Green Beret veteran, former NFL player and veterans affairs activist.
Boyer and Jay Glazer founded Merging Vets & Players, a nonprofit that connects combat veterans and former professional athletes. The film is based on the true story of how the nonprofit got its start and centers on the friendship between a struggling, recently retired NFL player and a homeless veteran suffering from PTSD. MVP premieres on Veterans Day, November 11 via AppleTV, Amazon, Google Play, Vudu and other major platforms.
